Meu nome é Rafael, sou brasileiro, gaúcho e vivo em São Paulo. Jornalista e estudante de comunicação, sempre gostei de pensar e escrever as palavras, mas descobri nas imagens novas ideias, interpretações e emoções. Há muito tempo, lendo uma famosa revista de capa amarela, conheci a fotografia como linguagem. Para mim, a foto é o meio mais forte de expressão. Intuição, mágica e realidade juntos. O fotojornalismo sempre foi uma grande influência atrás das lentes da minha câmera e ajudou a construir meu ponto de vista, nossa visão de mundo. Gosto de fotografar a natureza, o homem, a cidade, a rua, a casa, a arquitetura, o vazio, a luz e a sombra. Acredito que um segundo, um instante e o click na hora certa fazem toda diferença. Um simples olhar pode contar as melhores histórias de vida e compartilhar a nossa com o resto do mundo. Sempre lembro de um antigo slogan da Canon: "take more than pictures, take stories”. No final, o mais importante é enxergar os detalhes e enquadrar o sentimento - preto e branco ou colorido, tanto faz. Mais que palavras e histórias, fotografia é voz. Minha paixão.

 

My name is Rafael, I am brazilian, gaucho and live in São Paulo. Journalist and communication student, I’ve always liked thinking and writing words but I’ve discovered in images new ideas, interpretations and emotions. Long time ago, reading one famous magazine with yellow cover I met photography as a language. For me, the picture is the strongest mean of expression. Intuition, magic and reality together. The photojournalism has always been a big influence behind the lenses of my camera and helped build my point of view, our world vision. I like to shoot the nature, the man, the city, the street, the house, the architecture, the empty, the light and the shadow. I believe that one second, one instant and the click at the right time do all the difference. One simple look can tell the best life stories and share ours with the rest of the world. I always remember an old Canon slogan: "take more than pictures, take stories”. In the end, the most important is to see the details and frame the feeling - black and white or colored, whatever. More than words and stories, photography is voice. My passion.
